課程概述 |
本課程探討和森林健康相關的整合性課題，包括闡述森林健康和生態系管理概念，火、風、昆蟲和病原菌及其交互作用對森林健康的影響及管理方法。本課程內容以Edmonds, Agee, and Gara (2011) 的書為主，綱要如下：
1. The concept of forest health

3. Fire as a physical process
4. Fire ecology and fire regimes
5. Organizing for fire management
6. Fire strategies for forest health
7. Wind and forest health
8. Introduction to diseases
9. Abiotic (nonbiological) and animal-caused injuries

13. Foliage diseases and rusts
14. Stem and branch diseases
15. Forest declines
16. Management of forest diseases and the deterioration of wood products
17. Introduction to forest entomology

本課程的目標是要使學生具備森林健康管理的概念，了解生物和非生物因子的為害方式，並認識重要森林病蟲害的種類、生物學及防治方法。 |
